Join your hiker pals for a 4th of July fireworks hike!
The plan – we will meet in Manchester where there won’t be a crowd. From there we will hike over to Libbie Hill Park via the Canal Walk to catch the sunset followed by the fireworks display to be set off at Rockett’s Landing at 9pm. We’ll picnic and relax until dark. After fireworks we’ll hike back to Manchester while everyone else is stuck in traffic. Bring food, drinks, blankets or chairs, bug spray and your headlamp for the return hike. Keep in mind whatever you bring you will have to carry for 2 miles there and 2 miles back 🙂 The $1 fee is waived for this event. Happy Independence Day!
