In our last blog post, I talked about some things we are working on over the next couple of months to promote CVT and recruit new members. Here are a few updates:
First, in case you’ve missed the numerous shameless plugs, the new Facebook page is online! Please like it, follow it, share it, and recommend it. We can use the page for “official” announcements like event invites and group news. The Facebook group is still out there as well. The group is more for members to interact with each other – ask questions, give advice, share links, etc. We are also playing around with Facebook ads to see what kind of response we get. I’ll let you know how that goes.
And if you still can’t get enough CVT, we have a new Twitter page as well! Many thanks to Joe for setting this up. Our Twitter handle is @CVTrailblazers. Please follow us…and happy tweeting!
Save the date…on Sunday, September 23rd, we’ll be having a CVT Extended Family Cookout and “Poker Hike” at Forest Hill Park. In addition to being FREE to members and their guests, the event is open to the public as well…so join us, help spread the word!
