Part of the James River Park System, Ancarrow’s Landing is named after Newton Ancarrow, a scientist turned master boat builder who became a pioneer James River conservationist and environmentalist. It is a popular spot for fishing and boating and provides access to the historic Richmond Slave Trail.
Take I-95 to the Maury Street exit. Turn right on Maury Street and follow the brown signs to the public boat ramp.
