We had a small spike in the number of member joins thanks in part to an email that went out to members of the Meetup group…so if you’re new to the website, welcome! Take some time to explore the site, and if you have any questions, fill out our contact form or post it on our support forum.
Membership is at almost 300 now, which is great, but attendance is still down at some events. We don’t want CVT to be “our little secret” – please make an extra effort to get the word out to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers! Not only can you now earn 500 CVT Points by referring members (new feature), but to give you a little extra motivation, we’re having a special contest this month, starting today! The Trailblazer who earns the most CVT Points by referring new members by June 30th will also win a $25 gift card from L.L. Bean! A group meeting is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, July 11th, at the Henrico Library North Park Branch on East Parham Road near I-95 (not the Tuckahoe Branch near Regency Square). I would like to use part of that time to brainstorm other ways we can market and promote the group. I’m waiting for confirmation before I add it to the calendar, but keep the date open!
