Join us for a beautiful spring hike in Sherando Lake. This circuit hike is a CVT favorite! It begins in the parking lot by the Visitor Information Center/Beach Pavilion where we will proceed to ascend Torry Ridge which includes magnificent views of Sherando Lake. We will take a left on Torry Ridge (going towards the Blue Ridge Pkwy), a left on Slacks Trail & a left on White Rock Gap trail back to our cars.
The return time is approximate. If you have plans that require you to be back in Richmond at a specific time, please communicate this prior to carpooling with someone, or consider choosing a different hike.
Optional camping! Keith & Sherri will be camping at Sherando Lake Friday and Saturday nights.
Day hikers: Optional stop for dinner on the way back if there is interest.
