July’s James River hike features Maymont, that beloved Victorian estate and public park located high above the James River. We’ll explore the gardens, wildlife exhibits, Children’s Farm, and other points of interest. The hike distance is relatively short, so those interested will have the option of extending the hike to include nearby Texas Beach and part of the North Bank Trail. Total distance with the extension is around 4 to 6 miles.
