CVT returns to the trail! Join us for a fun but challenging summer hike at Powhatan State Park.

Powhatan State Park on the Historic James opened in the summer of 2013.  Located on the edge of the James River in the northwest corner of Powhatan County, the park offers 1565 acres of a diverse habitat for wildlife from open fields to wonderful upland hardwood forests.

We will hike the network of trails that wind through the fields and forests for a total distance of around 8 miles. Powhatan State Park is typically not very crowded, so social distancing should not be a big issue.

Courthouse Creek Cider is nearby. If there is interest, we can try to reserve a table after the hike. Masks are recommended.
