This is a new series we call the Looper. We will be hiking the FENDLEY STATION TRAIL loop which roughly follows the perimeter of the park. It is definitely long enough and has some elevation change, but is minor compared with the SNP.
Backpackers, feel free to bring your loaded packs! This is a great way to stay in shape for backpacking trips. The plan is to do this 4 times a year, once in each season. For those that are interested, and when the weather is right, we might just camp the night and use that gear that you lugged and enjoy the park. Camping will always be optional and you will need to make your own reservations.
