This is part of a limited run of local fall foliage walks right here in RVA!
This walk is a rescheduled “Sunset Hike” that features portions of classic near west end neighborhoods of Monument Avenue Park, Sauer’s Gardens, Malvern Gardens, Stonewall Court, and of course the Libbie & Grove area. Besides being named after that vanilla dude, Sauer’s Gardens has an interesting history which you can read about here.
This is a great opportunity for beginning hikers, amateur photographers, and new members to come out and meet the group!
After the walk, we can grab lunch at one of the eateries at Willow Lawn.
