Each year, tourists flock to Virginia for its sandy beaches, majestic mountains, and historical landmarks…but outdoorsy types like us know our greatest treasure is actually our vast collection of rocky, picturesque gaps! With this in mind, CVT is proud to present a yearlong tour of the Great Gaps of Virginia!
This installment of “Gappy Trails 2017” features Fridley Gap in George Washington National Forest. From gentle mountain streams, to ridge climbs and a great swimming hole, this hike has it all!
The return time is approximate. If you have plans that require you to be back in Richmond at a specific time, please communicate this prior to carpooling with someone, or consider choosing a different hike.
