This year because of COVID, we won’t be able to carpool, but we will still be able to go and have a great day on the water!
We will meet on site in Scottsville at Reeling and Rafting. We need to be ready to board the shuttle by 10:30am. Please make sure you allow extra time for this.
Once you arrive, go inside to check in pay the balance for your tube rental ($21.00) plus anything additional you need like a cooler tube rental. The reservation is in my name.
The staff will then instruct you take everything you need for float out of your vehicle and then move your vehicle to the designated parking area.
Park your car and walk back to the shuttle bus location where we will load up once everyone is ready.
To bring: water, snacks, sunscreen, cooler(you may want to arrange sharing cooler space with someone), a towel and change of clothes for after the float, $ for any additional expenses such as a mealdrink stop before heading back to Richmond.
From the website: alcohol, styrofoam coolers and glass container are not allowed. Also everyone must wear shoes or sandals that stay ion your feet AKA no flip flops.
