If you’re hanging around on Labor Day weekend, come out for a fun paddle on a calm reservoir. This 996 acre scenic park is within an hours drive for most of us. We will paddle approximately 5 miles on this nature abundant waterway. Kayak rentals are available if you need one. Google “Little Creek Reservoir “ and check out the variety and costs for each. I would suggest a half day rental.
We can eat lunch on water or in covered picnic area afterwards. There is only a short mile nature trail but we can venture on this after the paddle if desired.
Note: Pull up to the office/bathroom/covered picnic area to unload your kayak.You do not have to pay a ramp launching fee if you unload here. Just bring it down to water on walkway by office. There are usually maps in the office if you want one.
