I am very excited to announce that CVT has been invited by our friends at REI to participate in their “Get Ready to Backpack” event in March!
We will have an information table set up in the store from 11am until 2:30pm to greet customers, hand out goodies, and spread the gospel of CVT. Some other area groups will be there as well.
Then at 2:30pm, we’re going to give a presentation on the topic of CVT’s Top Ten Hidden Gems – some of our favorite lesser-known area destinations for hiking, camping, and backpacking! This presentation is open to the public and is posted on REI’s website (sign up here).
So what are the gems, you ask?? You’ll have to attend to find out! We could also use a few volunteers to help us set up at 10:30am or man the table for an hour or two, so please post a comment if you’re available. (Yes, you’ll get extra points!)
The $1 “Trail Buck” fee is waived for this event, so there is no cost to attend. Hope to see you there!
