CVT Game Nights are back! Let’s kick off the season with a return to trendy Scott’s Addition, home to CVT favorite Tang & Biscuit and the new Slingshot “Social Game Club”!
The main feature at Tang & Biscuit is shuffleboard, but they have ping pong, cornhole, Jenga, and other cool games as well. There is an hourly fee to play shuffleboard; the other games are free. And of course they have variety of Tang inspired drinks to choose from. Check out their photo gallery to get an idea of the atmosphere.
Slingshot is new to RVA and features “Superskee”, “Ultimate Bocce”, and “Extreme Duckpin”. Not sure if there is a charge to play their games. They have 42 different craft beers, ciders, and wines, and they have a traditional bar as well as a self-service tap wall.
We’ll be meeting at Commonwealth Law Group on West Broad Street, where we have special permission to park (thanks Jamie!). It’s next to the WTVR-6 tower, so it’s easy to find. From there we’ll take a mini-urban hike to Tang & Biscuit, hang out there for an hour or so, and then head over to Slingshot. If you’re running late, you’re welcome to meet us at either location (call/text me to track us down).
No Trail Bucks required to RSVP, but bring some cash just in case.
