Let’s get together to celebrate the end of this muggy, rainy summer and the start of the fall hiking season! Join your fellow Trailblazers at Forest Hill Park for a potluck lunch/cookout followed by a walk around the park.
We’ll be serving up hamburgers, bean burgers, and hot dogs, all grilled to perfection by one of our volunteer Adventure Specialists. We’ll have soft drinks and bottled water as well. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.
Following lunch, we’ll burn some calories on a three-mile “poker hike” around the lake and the surrounding trails. Participants will collect playing cards at various points, and the player with the best hand wins a fabulous mystery prize!!!
This event is FREE and open to the public as part of our 2018 membership drive. We just ask that you extend the invitation to your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers. And help spread the word by passing out flyers and sharing this event on social media.
