Back by popular demand, we bring you CVT Beach Week II! This year we’ve secured another fabulous mansion but have changed our venue to live among the wealthy in the Poseidon of Whaletown, a gated community located in Corolla, NC. See below to read about all the amenities – we’ll feel like Olympian gods!!!
If our Poseidon God is good and defends our nest against hurricanes, we will have an outdoor HEATED pool this year! Read all about the property here!
ACTIVITIES
We all know there are tons of things to do in the Outer Banks, and you are welcome to do as much or as little as you like. We will plan a few formal group activities as we approach the trip date, and I’m sure we’ll have plenty of impromptu activities when we get there, depending on the weather and interest. Currituck County Lighthouse and Heritage Park are nearby, where sunset views over the sound are said to be amazing. Wild horses couldn’t drag you away (and they have those too, by the way)!
MEALS
We’ll have a few planned group meals at the house; otherwise you will be responsible for your own meals. More on that later.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
I’m limiting the RSVP total to 18. Of course you are welcome to bring an inflatable mattress or even “camp out” on the deck or by the pool, weather permitting (no camping on the beach please).
Bedroom options are limited to:
- 2 rooms with double size bunk beds, one set per room
- 2 singles in one room with two twins
- 8 King Bedrooms
- 1 Queen
COST
Cost is 350 Trail Bucks for the full week or 200 Trail Bucks for a half week. This includes one bedroom to be shared with one other person. If you would like a private room, you must RSVP for two spaces. Purchase Trail Bucks here.
REFUNDS
Once the event is full, the trip is on and refunds will not be possible unless someone takes your place. Refunds can be made via PayPal, minus any transaction fees.

Preference of bedrooms will be given to those who RSVP soonest, so don’t delay! Half-week options may be offered at a later date depending on availability.
