The Capital Trail is a dedicated, paved pedestrian trail that connects the Commonwealth’s past and present capitals of Jamestown and Richmond along the scenic Rt. 5 corridor. The trail traverses approximately 52 miles, four jurisdictions, and more than 400 years of history along one of the first inland routes in North America. In 2017 we will hike the whole trail in a series of 5 shuttle hikes.
For this leg, we will meet at the end of our 3rd leg in the parking lot Charles City Courthouse, which is right next to Cul’s Courthouse Grille, which we will visit after our hike 🙂
