We’re hitting the trails for the 8th Annual Hike for Kids event to support Blue Sky Fund! Your participation directly impacts the number of Richmond City Public School students that we can connect with nature during the 2019-2020 school year. Join Team CVT in our continued support of Blue Sky Fund by participating in Hike for Kids.
Why hike for kids?? It’s easy to take for granted that we live in a beautiful city with some of the best urban hiking in the country – but not everyone in Richmond has this opportunity to access the wild nature of the James River. Pay it forward for those who can’t by joining us for the only event in Richmond worth hiking for!
We’re hiking the 8-mile route starting and ending at the Virginia War Memorial.
Participants must register here. If you are prompted to join a team, select “Central Virginia Trailblazers”. Registration includes a super cool event t-shirt, and access to the after-party with beer, food and extra fun for the family!
The cost is $30 to register, but hurry…the special summer rates end soon! After 8/31, the cost increases to $40 for adults, $15 for kids age 4 to 18. Children age 3 and under can hike for free.
The event will be held rain or shine.
In addition to joining Team CVT, please RSVP as you would for any CVT event so we know you’re coming. No Trail Bucks required!
