Each year, tourists flock to Virginia for its sandy beaches, majestic mountains, and historical landmarks…but outdoorsy types like us know our greatest treasure is actually our vast collection of rocky, picturesque hollers! With this in mind, CVT is proud to present a yearlong tour of the many magnificent hollers of Virginia!
The final installment of “A Fistful of Hollers” is the Overall Run/Heiskell Hollow circuit in the North District of Shenandoah National Park. It features streams, vistas, swimming holes, waterfalls, homestead ruins, and more! This will be our first time doing this one.
The return time is approximate. If you have plans that require you to be back in Richmond at a specific time, please communicate this prior to carpooling with someone, or consider choosing a different hike.
