I hope everyone had a happy holiday weekend!
For some of us, it’s been a tough few days with the loss of Mike Scalf. For those of you who knew Mike, a memorial visitation is scheduled for this Wednesday, 4/19, from 6pm to 8pm at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home. Please spread the word.
Due to the visitation, I rescheduled this week’s Sunset Hike at Bryan Park to Thursday, 4/27.
In addition to the visitation on Wednesday night, we have a Sunset Hike with Keith on Thursday night. Next Saturday, we have two day hikes…a “Shenandoah Sampler” in the Central District of Shenandoah National Park, and another installment of “White Blaze Trail Daze” with Leigh. And on Sunday, we have our monthly James River hike along the Buttermilk and North Bank Trails. Spaces are still available for all of these.
