Newly posted events are now highlighted at the top of the home page of the website, with upcoming events underneath. Here are the newest additions to the calendar:
- Join us for a day of hiking, kayaking, and picnicking on Sunday, July 9th, at Waller Mill Park in Williamsburg. This is our first time visiting Waller Mill as a group! Boat rentals are available, or you can bring your own. Only a few spots left!
- Then on Tuesday, July 11th, we’re having a CVT Town Hall Meeting at Henrico Library’s North Park Branch. We’ll talk about upcoming events, the website, and anything else on your mind! Complimentary snacks and sodas provided.
- On July 22nd, Trailblazer Steve is leading a trip to Shenandoah National Park for the annual Blackberry Delight festival at Skyland! Take in the views from Stony Man and enjoy a blackberry feast with live music. Thanks Steve!
- And don’t forget about CVT Night with the Flying Squirrels this Saturday night at The Diamond! Join Trailblazer Jen and the gang, and stick around for fireworks after the game!
Also, just a reminder to please change your RSVP you need to cancel out of an event. Comments are welcome as well, but are only needed if it’s a full event. There is a Manage Your RSVPs link on every event page and in the main menu under MEMBER – MY CVT – MY EVENTS-ATTENDING.
And finally, Keith and Sonja are tied for first place in our member referral contest! The Trailblazer who refers the most new members to the group wins a $25 gift card from L.L. Bean. In the event of a tie, the prize goes to the Trailblazer with the purplest hair. Good luck! 🙂
