I’m happy to announce that “opening weekend” went pretty smoothly despite a few minor glitches! I know some of you were up at midnight Saturday night signing up for events – very impressive! It looks like everybody is getting the hang of the RSVP system.
You may have missed a few later additions to the calendar. Carole is hosting another Wyndham Sunset Hike this Thursday at 5:45pm. Or if you’re looking for something more challenging, check out Kim’s Cold Mountain/Mount Pleasant hike this Saturday. Lots of other events have spaces left, so take advantage of it while it lasts! 🙂
I’ve made a few tweaks to the website based on your feedback. A few of you suggested we provide a way for members to export events to their personal calendars. Done! You should now see iCal and Google Calendar links near the top of every event page. Let me know if you have any trouble getting these to work. I also changed the event settings so that event dates, times, and locations are visible to everyone. You’ll still need to be logged in to see the rest of the details.
